The one kitchen knife that does it all, this Shun Ken Onion 7" multi-utility knife is the professional chef's most-used cutlery tool. With an expertly-designed shape that maximizes the glide of the Damascus-clad blade, this precision-scalloped edge slices through thick-skinned fruit, leaving the interior intact. This extra-sharp VG-10 super steel core is clad on each side with 16 micro-thin layers of high-carbon steel to create a balance and sharpness so sophisticated, the performance is unprecedented to quickly chop, dice and mince vegetables, mince herbs, slice meat or cheese with effortless release. Like a santoku, the blunt blade nose lets you scoop ingredients, adding to the versatility of this multi-use knife.

Zero balanced at the center point for ultimate control, this Shun Ken Onion multi-utility knife slices hard-crust bread, leaving the loaf and the slices in perfect form. The Damascus-clad blade at 16 degree, convex-ground extreme edges holds a sharp edge longer. The ebony-black PakkaWood handle with full tang features the signature glove-fitting grip that is slightly elevated to allow full contact of the knife to the cutting board. This downward curve provides knuckle clearance, eliminating resistance for a smooth, efficient cut. Hand wash. Handcrafted in Japan. Lifetime manufacturer warranty.
